Selecting which languages and features are available in a hub or spoke

You can control which languages and features are available in a hub or spoke. These features can be managed for each workplace individually, or you can edit multiple workplaces simultaneously to apply the same settings to all of them.

Considerations

• Language availability: See Languages and Translation for the available language list. 
• Feature availability: The following features can be turned on or off:
  
  • Points and status
  • Public registration
  • Tasks
  • Moderation
  • Edit profile
  • Archiving
  • Watermarking
  • API Sync (ILST)
• Authentication features: While authentication settings have their own options tab separate from languages and features, these two authentication settings are also included when bulk editing workplaces:
  • Authentication method (SAML and LDAP details must be configured individually for each workplace) 
  • Lock authentication settings (Disables the Sign in Settings page of a workplace)

Who can do this?

• Enterprise administrators

Select which languages and features are available in a hub or spoke

1. While signed into a digital workplace that is part of your Networked Enterprise, on the Userbar, select  Control Panel.
2. Under Resources, select EAP.
3. On the Workplaces page, search for and select the digital workplace you want to edit.
4. Select Features.
5. Configure the following:
   • Default Languages: Select a default language for the digital workplace. 
   • Enabled Languages: Select which languages are available in the digital workplace.
   • Additional Settings: Select which features to enable. Options include: 

     • Points and status

     • Public registration

     • Tasks

     • Moderation

     • Edit profile

     • Archiving

     • Watermarking

     • API sync

6. Select Save.

Edit the available languages and features of multiple workplaces

1. While signed into a digital workplace that is part of your Networked Enterprise, on the Userbar,  select  Control Panel.
2. Under Resources, select EAP.
3. On the Workplaces page, select the checkbox next to each workplace you want to edit. You can select the checkbox in the header row of the workplace table to select all workplaces on the current page. Once selected, choose Select all items to select each workplace in your Networked Enterprise.
4. Above the table of workplaces, select Manage.
5. On the Languages page, configure the following: 
   1. Default Languages: Select a default language for the digital workplace. 
   2. Enabled Languages: Select which languages are available in the digital workplace.
6. On the Features page, select which features to enable. Options include: 

   • Authentication Method

   • Lock authentication settings

   • Points and status

   • Public registration

   • Tasks

   • Moderation

   • Edit profile

   • Archiving

   • Watermarking

   • API sync 

7. Select Save.
