Add members to your digital workplace
You can add members to your digital workplace using the following methods:
- Individual add: Add a single member to your digital workplace. This method allows you to select which groups they are in. See Adding a member to the digital workplace.
- Bulk Member Upload: This method allows you to add multiple members to your digital workplace, select which groups they are in, and add profile information. See Bulk Upload.
- Invitations: Send an email invitation to a member that provides them with a path to create an account and join your digital workplace. See Inviting users to your digital workplace.
- Join Requests: For public digital workplaces, provide people with a Join button that they can select to become members of your digital workplace. This join request can be processed automatically or require manual approval. See Public Registration.
- SAML: Add members to your digital workplace when they sign in with valid SSO credentials but are not already members. See SSO - SAML Authentication.
- ILST: If your organization maintains employee information in one or more LDAPv3-supported data sources (e.g., Microsoft Active Directory, Azure AD), you can use the Igloo LDAP Sync Tool (ILST) to sync members and their profile information to your digital workplace. See Igloo LDAP Sync Tool (ILST).
Make changes to an existing digital workplace member
You can make the following changes to a member's account:
- Change their email address: Update or change a member's email address if their name has changed. See Changing a member's email address.
- Edit their profile: Select a member from the list on the Manage Members page to navigate to their Edit Profile page. See Editing a user's profile.
- Trigger a password reset: Trigger a password reset for a member so that they can create a new Igloo authentication password. See Resetting a member's Igloo password.
If you are using the ILST, it can be configured to update and manage members' profile information and group affiliations. For more information, see:
Revoke members from your digital workplace
You can revoke members from your digital workplace using the following methods:
- Individually remove: Revoke a member from the digital workplace individually. See Revoking users from a digital workplace.
- Bulk Member Revoke: Revoke multiple members from the digital workplace at once. See Revoking users from a digital workplace.
- ILST: If your organization uses the ILST, you can revoke users from your digital workplace using the ILST. See Revoking users with the ILST.
