Actions button

The Actions button gives you access to the administrative tools for each page and various features within your digital workplace. These tools allow you to edit the current page, view subscriptions, change access, and more.

On all content types, excluding calendars, the Actions button resembles a  cog. In other locations, it appears as a downward-facing arrow. The menu options displayed after selection Actions will change based on location and access level.

Features

Our platform is simple and intuitive, but that doesn't mean its capabilities are limited. The following features are available from the Actions button.

Access

From the Access option, you can configure user access to the area.

Activity

From the Activity option, you can view the audit trail of creations, edits, and changes made in this location.

Advanced

From the Advanced option, you can configure options related to Search Engine Optimization, such as Page Title, Meta Description, Meta Keywords, and settings for search engine indexing. Additionally, you can configure JavaScript to run on that page.

Archive

From the Archive option, you can archive content manually to bypass any active archiving policies in your digital workplace.

Channel template

From the Channel Template option, you can quickly post content using a pre-populated HTML form. They are typically used in areas inside your Igloo with a standard format for how information should be presented, how data should be entered, or where easily repeatable and replicated content is required. Users can create channel templates for blogs, calendars, wikis, forums, and tasks.

From the Copy option, you can copy files and folders to another location, including other folder channels in the digital workplace.

Delete

From the Delete option, you delete content from the digital workplace into the Trash Can
