Before a blog article or forum post can be pinned, pinning must be turned on at the channel level. By doing so, content authors and members with at least Edit access to the content can set a pin on new or existing content.

Turn pinning on and off for blog and forum channels
- Go to the blog or forum channel where you want to toggle the pinning functionality.
- Select
Actions and then Settings.
- In the Pinning content section, select the box next to Turn on pinning.
- (Optional) Use the provided dropdown to select a Default pin expiration date. Content managers can also change this value directly on content if they want the expiration to be sooner or later.
- Select Save.
