Related content links help tie digital workplace content together by providing quick navigation links to other content. These links can be explicitly specified using the content's Related Content panel or are automatically created when entering the URL to other content in your workplace.

Link to related content when creating or editing content
- Go to the content.
- Select
Actions, followed by Edit.
- While on the Edit page, scroll down to the Advanced Options section and expand it.
- In the Related Content field, enter the name of the content in the search box and select a piece of content from the search results.
- If the content you are trying to link to is newly created, it may not yet be indexed by search and may not appear in your search results.
- After selecting the content, it will be added to a list of existing related content. You can then:
- (Optional) Select the name of the content to navigate to it.
- (Optional) Toggle Show link on both items to control whether or not the related link will show on both items. If checked, a related link will also be added on the related content to the content that is currently being edited. Otherwise, a link to the related content is only included on the content currently being edited.
- (Optional) Select X to remove the article from the list of related links.
- Publish the content to have these changes take effect.
Link to related content from existing content
- While viewing the content, select the Related Content tab at the bottom of the content.
- In the Related Content tab, select + to add a new piece of related content.
- In the Search community search box, enter the name of the content and select a piece of content from the search results.
- If the content you are trying to link to is newly created, it may not yet be indexed by search and may not appear in your search results.
- After selecting the content, it will be added to a list of existing related content. You can then:
- (Optional) Select the name of the content to navigate to it.
- (Optional) Toggle Show link on both items to control whether or not the related link will show on both items. If checked, a related link will also be added on the related content to the content that is currently being edited. Otherwise, a link to the related content is only included on the content currently being edited.
- Select Add.
Remove a related content link
Removing a link this way only removes it from the current content, not the related content.
- Go to the content.
- Select
Actions, followed by Edit.
- While on the Edit page, scroll down to the Advanced Options section and expand it.
- Beside the related content you want to remove, select X to remove it.
- Publish the content to have these changes take effect.
