An nslookup will tell you the IP address and other DNS information about websites you are trying to access. It can be useful information when troubleshooting connection issues.

  2. Type cmd and then press the OK button to open a command prompt.
  3. At the prompt, type nslookup yourdomain.com and press the Enter key.
