Subscriptions generate notifications. Your subscriptions and how they generate notifications can be managed from the Subscriptions page. The Subscriptions page can be found in the User Menu of the Userbar. This page displays a sortable (by Name, Type, Frequency, and Date subscribed) table of all your subscriptions. To find a specific subscription, use the Search for a Subscription search box located in the Name header of the subscription's table.
On the Subscriptions page, you can:
- Modify your current subscription's frequency.
- Toggle your automatic subscription settings.
- Unfollow content.
- Set what will trigger an email notification.
- Clear any filters you've applied while searching your list of subscriptions by selecting Clear all filters.
Tip: Navigate directly to the Subscriptions page by appending /my.subscriptions
to the root URL of the workplace.

How to unfollow content
The following steps describe how to unfollow content. Unfollowing content will remove it from your subscription's list, and you will no longer receive email notifications regarding changes or comments relating to the content. You will still receive a notification if another user @mentions you.
- Select your Username on the Userbar to open the User Menu.
- Select Subscriptions from the User Menu to navigate to your Subscription's page.
- Locate the subscription that you want to unfollow.
- While hovering over the subscription, select Unfollow to remove the subscription from your list. The Unfollow button is only visible when hovering over a subscription.
- To confirm unfollowing the subscription, select Unfollow on the confirmation popup. Select Cancel if you do not want to unfollow.
Tip: Rather than unsubscribe from content, consider setting the frequency of notifications to Weekly or Monthly. These frequencies aggregate notifications into single notification emails, which are sent at weekly or monthly intervals.
How to change a subscription's frequency
The following steps describe how to change a subscription's frequency. A subscription with a frequency of never will remain in your list of subscriptions but no longer result in email notifications. Updates regarding content with this frequency may still appear in some of your Recent Activity feeds depending on how your Workplace administrator has configured the widget.
- Select your Username on the Userbar to open the User Menu.
- Select Subscriptions from the User Menu to navigate to your Subscription's page.
- Search or browse your subscriptions to find the article that you want to change the subscription frequency of.
- Select the current frequency value of the subscription and select a new frequency.
How to change your Automatic Subscription Settings
- Select your Username on the Userbar to open the User Menu.
- Select Subscriptions from the User Menu to navigate to your Subscription's page.
- Select Subscription settings to open the options menu.
- Toggle whether you automatically subscribe to content you create by selecting the checkbox beside Content that I create.
- Toggle whether you automatically subscribe to content that you comment on by selecting the checkbox beside Content that I comment on.
Note: Changes to your automatic subscription settings are not retroactive.
