Subscriptions to content in the digital workplace generate notifications. You can manage your subscriptions and how they generate notifications from the Subscriptions page.
To go to the Subscriptions page:
- On the Userbar, select your name (User Menu).
- Select Subscriptions.
Or append /my.subscriptions
to the root URL of the workplace.
This page displays a sortable (by Name, Type, Frequency, and Date subscribed) table of all your subscriptions. On the Subscriptions page, you can:
- Search for a subscription: Use the Search for a Subscription search box to find a specific subscription
- Subscription frequency: Modify your current subscription's frequency.
- Automatic Subscription Settings: Toggle your automatic subscription settings.
- Unfollow content: Unfollow content to stop receiving notifications.
- Email notifications: See Set what will trigger an email notification to change when email notifications are sent.
- Filters: Select Clear all filters to clear any filters you've applied while searching your list of subscriptions.

Considerations
- Unfollowing content versus frequency: Rather than unsubscribe from content, consider setting the frequency of notifications to Weekly or Monthly. These frequencies aggregate notifications into single notification emails sent at weekly or monthly intervals.
Who can do this?
- Any digital workplace member
Unfollow content
Unfollowing content removes it from your subscription list, and you will no longer receive email notifications regarding changes or comments related to the content. However, you will still receive a notification if another user @mentions you.
- On the Userbar, select your name (User Menu).
- Select Subscriptions.
- Locate the subscription that you want to unfollow.
- While hovering over the subscription, select Unfollow to remove the subscription from your list. The Unfollow button is only visible when hovering over a subscription.
- When prompted, select Unfollow on the confirmation popup.
Change a subscription's frequency
- On the Userbar, select your name (User Menu).
- Select Subscriptions.
- Locate the subscription for which you want to change the frequency of notifications.
- In the Frequency column, select the dropdown and choose a new frequency. Options include:
- Instant
- Daily
- Weekly
- Monthly
- Never: A subscription with a frequency of Never will remain in your list of subscriptions but no longer result in email notifications. Updates regarding content with this frequency may still appear in some of your Recent Activity feeds, depending on how the widget has been configured.
Change your automatic subscription settings
- On the Userbar, select your name (User Menu).
- Select Subscriptions.
- Select Subscription settings.
- Toggle these settings as needed:
- Automatically subscribe me to content that I create
- Automatically subscribe me to content that I comment on
- Send me email notifications when I am @mentioned
- Send me email notifications for all my instant subscriptions
- Select Save. Changes to your automatic subscription settings are not retroactive.
