Deleting a label group

Remove a label group from your digital workplace to reduce the clutter that members can encounter when using labels.

Considerations

• Permanent action: You cannot recover a label group or any of its labels after you delete it. However, when deleting the group, you can move all contained labels to an empty group to keep them. Deleting labels removes them from any content that they were attached to.

Who can do this?

• Workplace administrators
• Enterprise administrators
• Members of groups with the Manage Labels role

Delete a label group

1. On the Userbar, select  Control Panel.
2. Under Settings, select Manage Labels.
3. Beside the label group you want to delete, select Edit.
4. Select Delete group.
5. (Optional) To retain any contained labels by placing them in an empty group, select Keep labels and move them to an empty group.
6. Select Yes.
