Broadcasts

Notify other digital workplace members of important content by broadcasting it with a custom message. Broadcasts arrive as email notifications outside the platform, messages inside the digital workplace, and items in the mobile app's Notifications tab to targeted group members. Users can then select the link in the broadcast to go to that location in the digital workplace.

Considerations

  • Content types: The content types can be broadcast:
  • Receiving broadcasts: If a user is a member of multiple groups that have been selected to receive a broadcast, they will only receive one broadcast notification.
  • Digital workplace notifications: If a digital workplace's notifications are turned off, a broadcast email notification will not be sent. However, the broadcast will still appear in their messages.
  • Broadcast option visibility: If you do not have an appropriate access level or role, the broadcast option will not be visible.
