Use AI Assistant in content creation

When turned on, you can use the WYSIWYG editor's AI Assistant to create and edit text content directly in the editor.

Considerations

• Supported content types: Supported content types include blog articles, calendar events, forum topics, and wiki articles.
• AI Assistant availability: The AI Assistant must be turned on and configured by your enterprise or workplace administrator to be available for use. Additionally, you must belong to a user group with access permissions to use it. See Configure AI Assistant feature in content creation.

Who can do this?

• Any member of a group with access permissions to the AI Assistant. 

Generate new content

The Ask Anything feature generates content from a prompt. While you are creating or editing content in the WYSIWYG editor:

1. On the toolbar, select AI Assistant. 
2. In the AI Assistant dialog window, enter a prompt about the content you want to create. Image generation is not supported.
3. Select Submit. 
4. Review the changes and choose one of the following actions: 
   • Insert: If you are pleased with the results, select Insert to apply changes.
   • Try Again: If you would different like results, select Try Again to regenerate the content. 

Edit existing content

The Change Tone feature allows you to adjust selected text to make it professional, casual, or concise. While you are creating or editing content in the WYSIWYG editor:

1. Select the text you would like to edit with the AI Assistant.
2. On the toolbar, select AI Assistant. 
3. In the AI Assistant dialog window, select AI Shortcuts, select Change Tone, and then choose one of the following options: 
   • Professional
   • Casual
   • Concise
4. Review the changes and choose one of the following actions: 
   • Insert: If you are pleased with the results, select Insert to apply changes.
   • Try Again: If you would like different results, select Try Again to regenerate the content. 

Frequently Asked Questions

The AI Assistant displays the error "Rate limit exceeded. Try again later."

You can only make 20 requests per hour. Please wait one hour and try again. 

The AI Assistant displays "The AI provider is currently rate-limiting requests. Try again in a moment." or "AI provider request failed."

Please wait a few moments and retry. If persistent, please contact your workplace administrator. 

The AI Assistant displays "The AI model configured for this community is no longer available. Please ask your administrator to update the configuration." or "The AI provider API key is no longer valid. Please ask your administrator to refresh it."

Please contact your workplace administrator to update the model or API key.
