When creating blog articles, the feature image process allows four images to be uploaded for use in various areas of the digital workplace when surfacing the blog article.
Sections in this article:
Feature images
A feature image must meet the following requirements:
- Supported file types include GIF, PNG, and JPG.
- The file size of an image must be less than 3MB.
When the first image has been uploaded to any feature image boxes, it will be uploaded to all four boxes. After the first image is uploaded, select X on any of the images to change it to a different image, which may fit the aspect ratio better.
Edit a feature image
Editing a feature image allows changing its focal point and adding alt text for accessibility purposes.
To set the focal point:
- Select an image box to edit.
- Select and drag the image to change its focal point.
- Select Save.
Once the blog article has been published, the areas of the image outside of the image selection box will be deleted and cannot be restored without re-uploading the image.
To add alt text to the image:
- Select an image box to edit.
- In Alt text, enter a short description of the image.
- Select Save.
