Archive or unarchive content
Any user with at least Full access to content can follow the steps to archive or unarchive it.
- Go to the content that you want to archive or unarchive.
- Select Actions followed by Archive or Unarchive.
Unarchive content via the Manage Archive page
You can only unarchive content via the Manage Archive page if it has been archived for less than 31 days.
Only workplace and space administrators can unarchive content this way. However, space administrators can only do so via their space's Manage Archive page.
When restoring recently archived content on the Manage Archive page, the restored content will receive a content-specific archiving policy of Do not archive that will prevent archiving policies from archiving it again. To edit this content-specific policy, see Edit content's archiving policy.
To get to the digital workplace's Manage Archive page:
- At the top of the page, select Control Panel.
- Under Overview, select Manage Archive.
- Select the Archive tab.
- Find the content that you want to unarchive.
- To the right of the content, select Restore.
- When prompted, select Restore.
To get to a space's Manage Archive page:
- Go to the space and select Administration.
- Under Overview, select Manage Archive.
- Select the Archive tab.
- Find the content that you want to unarchive.
- To the right of the content, select Restore.
- When prompted, select Restore.
