The Recognition Center Plus Metrics widget is a part of the Recognition Center Plus module. It displays aggregate data about the recognition posts in the specified channel. Users with the appropriate permissions can archive posts from the submissions blog channel, which moves them to the specified archival blog channel.
The metrics widget can also be configured to use the archive channel as the data source to see information about archived posts.

Set up
- Place an
Integrations widget on a page or space. For more information, see Placing and setting up a widget.
- Select the placed widget's Edit button.
- Under Integration Library, select Recognition Center Plus.
- Select the
Recognition Center Plus Metrics Widget from the library.
- Review and make changes to the settings on the Options and Appearance tabs. You can find details about the widget's settings in the Settings section below.
- In the widget editor, select Update to apply your changes or Cancel to discard them.
- At the bottom of your page, space, or dashboard, select Publish or Save as Draft to save your changes.

Title |
Enter a title for the widget. The title appears as a heading above the widget's contents. You should use the title to provide context to the widget and better structure a page's content by clearly denoting different sections. When entering a title, you do so only for your currently selected language. Title link |
Enter the URL of a location in your digital workplace. If the widget has a title, users who select it will go to this location. Whether you enter the link as a relative URL or an absolute URL does not matter, it will convert to an absolute URL the next time you edit the widget. Description |
Enter a description for the widget. The description appears between the title and the widget's contents. You can use this text to provide information to users about the widget. Enter the URL of the blog channel where users create recognition posts. The widget will source post information from this channel. Enter the URL of the blog channel where posts will be moved to when they are archived. If you have configured the source blog channel to be your archival blog channel, leave this field blank. This URL must be relative to the root URL of your digital workplace. Example:

Period Starting Date |
Enter the start date of your reporting period. Posts before this date will not be used to calculate the information in this widget. Use the format MM/DD/YYYY. If this field is left blank, no results will be shown. Example:

Label Group |
Enter the name of the label group containing the labels you use for badges. The widget displays some metrics broken down by the labels in this group. Example:

Appearance tab

Class |
Enter CSS class selectors to provide additional styling to the widget. For more information, see Applying custom CSS to widgets. |
Height |
Select the height of the widget. The default value is Auto (leftmost slider position) scales the widget's height to fit its contents. You can use the slider to set a fixed height between 50px to 600px in increments of 50px. Selecting a height less than what is needed to display its contents results in the widget having a vertical scrollbar. |
Note
Your digital workplace's theme overwrites many of the settings on the Appearance tab. However, the settings listed above are usable.
Using it
The following views are available in the widget:
Activity
The Activity view displays a line graph of the total number of posts made per day for the time period selected in the configuration.
Awards
The Awards view contains a pie chart that displays how many nominations were awarded for each label in the label group selected in the configuration. Mousing over each section of the pie chart will reveal the number of nominations for each label.
Nominees
The Nominees view contains a bar chart displaying the number of nominations each person has received within the configured timeframe. Mousing over each bar in the chart will reveal the number of nominations the user has received.
Submitters
The Submitters view contains a bar chart displaying the number of nominations each person has submitted within the configured timeframe. Mousing over each bar in the chart will reveal the number of nominations the user has been awarded.
Data
The Data tab shows a chart of the information used to create the charts on the previous views. Using the buttons in the bottom right corner of the widget in this view, an administrator can do the following things:
- Export raw data: The information displayed in this chart can be exported for use in other applications in the following formats using the export buttons:

- Select and archive posts: To archive posts, select rows in the table to highlight them or select
Select All in the bottom right corner of the widget. Once you have selected some posts, select
Archive. This moves the selected posts to the archive blog channel set in the configuration.
