The Recognition Center Plus Submission widget is part of the Recognition Center Plus module. It allows users to submit a post to the recognition channel used by the rest of the module's widgets.
The fields that appear in the Submission widget are:
- Search for employees to recognize: A user search to select the user(s) to call out for recognition
- What values are you recognizing in this employee?: A dropdown list of the values set in the configuration. This is populated based on the labels in the label group chosen in the config.
- Why are you recognizing this employee?: A large text field where a submitter can write details about why they want to recognize the employee(s) they selected. This editor allows for rich text and images.

To submit a recognition post:
- Search for and select the user they want to recognize in the Search for employees to recognize field.
- Select the values they would like to recognize from the values field.
- Write a description of why they are recognizing the user in the Why are you recognizing this employee? field.
- Select Submit. A popup will appear, asking the user to confirm their submission.
- Select Post. A loading bar will appear, and when complete, the submission page will be refreshed.
Once the submission process is complete, a new blog post will be created in the blog channel defined in the Blog Channel Path setting. The recognized user will be notified, and any Recognition Center Plus Viewer widget or Metrics widget configured to use that blog channel as a source will display the details of the newly created post.
