LDAP authentication is one method offered by Igloo to help simplify the management of your intranet.
- Pass-through to your corporate directory service (typically Microsoft Active Directory,) no need to create or invite users to your Igloo.
- Control who can access your Igloo in a simple, efficient manner.
- Ensure adherence to password complexity requirements, as well as password change intervals.
Igloo supports LDAPs, which is LDAP over SSL. This will encrypt all authentication traffic over the internet between the Igloo webserver and your local corporate network (Fig. 2.1)

Additionally, the Igloo platform does not require any write access inside your corporate environment.
