Collaborate Event Series
Igloo’s “Collaborate” event series is designed to help drive organizational effectiveness through real collaboration, using company intranets. Our past events have brought together industry experts and thought leaders to conduct interactive labs on collaboration in the workplace. Attendees have walked away with the knowledge to help them promote collaboration in their workplaces, immediately.
Stay tuned to the Igloo Insider to hear more about our upcoming events, where you can hear directly from keynote speakers who are also Igloo customers. They’ll share their own successes and obstacles in an interactive lab learning format, giving you the tools you need to apply best practices to your own business.

Your Questions, Answered
And now the moment that you’ve all be waiting for: answers from our in-house experts to your most frequently asked questions.
Q: I’m the community administrator for our company’s Igloo. How do I reset a password?
A: You don't. Simply put: Igloo accounts stick to the user, not the community. If a member forgets their password, they can follow our 'password reset’ instructions to have a reset link sent to their email.
Q: I don’t get it. What’s the difference between a page and a space?
A: Pages are places to collect and present content. Administrators can create pages and use widgets to showcase information from other areas of the community.
Spaces are typically created when a subgroup of people (e.g., managers) need their own area to collaborate. Spaces can be controlled by a set of permissions different than the ones associated with the page that it’s on. Think of a space like a room that has a “staff only” sign on the door, only certain people are allowed to enter.

Q: Can I subscribe my users to content?
A: You sure can! Subscribe your users to any piece of content using the subscriptions feature. Learn how.
Have a question for us? Send it our way. If it’s a keeper, we may just share it for all to see – and learn from – in the next Igloo Insider. And, no need to worry: all questions are published anonymously, so go ahead and ask us what’s really on your mind.
