Release Notes: February 2010

The February 2010 release of the IGLOO Platform contains several enhancements, new features and fixes.
Some of the highlights of this release include:
- Instant Messaging & VoIP Integration. Find, reach and communicate with others in your community quickly and cost effectively. With our new real-time communication module, you can integrate with Skype™, Windows Live™ Messenger, Google Talk™ and Yahoo!® Messenger to make it easier to connect with those hard-to-reach contacts.
- Wallpaper Configuration. Quickly and easily revitalize the look and feel of your site by changing the background image of your community.
- Single Authentication. For your users, there's one less password to remember. For your administrators, IGLOO's new authentication module will allow you to connect your community to a secure LDAP server (such as Microsoft Active Directory Server) to centralize authentication, storage and maintenance of user accounts.
- User Profile Cards. Wherever you see a user's profile picture in your community, hover over it to view a new Profile Card. This can help you learn more about those contributing to your community, navigate quickly to their profile, or send them a message.
- Filter your Pulse. The Recent Activity widget for building pages just became more powerful. You can filter the activity to display a single user group. Now you can see activity about content and people who matter to you!
- Enhancements to every major area of our product suite. Features and enhancements ideas often come from you - our customers. You tell us what areas of the product you use most and we are continually trying to improve those areas.

| Blog | Blog pulse enhanced to respect all member permissions and will only display items a member has permission to view. |
| Calendar | Commenting enabled on Calendar events. |
| Calendar events can be rated, if community rating is turned on. | |
| Calendar events can be labeled. | |
| Calendar events appear in the community pulse for those who have permissions to see them. | |
| Community Theme | Able to upload a wallpaper image to be applied as the community background. |
| Documents | Document table view now includes the number of sub-items (both files and folders) inside of the folder, under the size column (Note: this is not recursive). |
| 'Next' and 'Previous' buttons appear when viewing a document in a folder, to allow users to navigate to the next document easily. | |
| Editor | The full editor includes buttons for subscript and superscript. |
| Comments editor includes buttons for numbering and bullets. | |
| Gallery | When viewing an image in an album, click on the image to view a full-size preview. |
| Able to use the left and right arrow keys to navigate through images in an album. | |
| Labels | Labels browse results provide more information including author name, last modified date, number of comments and other item labels. |
| Pages | Action menu for pages provides a delete option. |
| Profiles | Hovering over your name in the User Bar will display a dropdown, allowing you to quickly jump to sections of your profile. |
| Dropdowns on user profiles allow you to contact users with Skype™, Windows Live™ Messenger, Google Talk™ and Yahoo!® Messenger. | |
| Hovering over a user's profile picture in the community will display a Profile Card, which displays profile information and allows you to send them a message. | |
| Online status is indicated in a user's Profile Card if they are signed into the web client of a community. | |
| Pulse | Community pulse enhanced to respect all member permissions and will only display items a member has permission to view. |
| Older activity can be accessed by extending the pulse. | |
| Search | Search results provide more information including author name, last modified date, number of comments and other item labels. |
| Widgets | Recent activity widget can be filtered to show only activity from a specific member group. |
| Wiki | The wiki editor allows users to access and edit full HTML. |
