You will see moderation at the bottom of the settings page here you have the options for moderation. The first thing you will want to do is add a moderator for the channel. You can have multiple but if a channel is left without a moderator content will not be able to be published.

Moderation works by changing the workflow of publishing. Instead of a user writing a post or a wiki article and then publishing it they would have a button that said send to moderator instead.

What will happen is the moderator will receive an email (if selected) and an item in their to do list. The moderator will be able to review the document and allow it to be published it. They can edit the file, correct spelling or even send it back to the user with a note explaining what is wrong with their post. Of course a moderator can also delete a post instead of letting it be posted which works well for spam.

Comments can also be moderated either by the channel moderator of if allowed in settings the author of the content
