Domain Mapping
Domain names are key part of an organization's branding. With IGLOO, you have the flexibility to specify your own domain (ie. web address, URL).
IGLOO-Hosted Domains
IGLOO offers a number of domains that you can select when you start your community. Here is the current list of default Igloo domains

Custom Domains
With Domain Mapping, you can change the web address of your IGLOO site or community. Instead of your address being a default IGLOO-Hosted domain, you can specify the web address you would like to have for your community. It is necessary that you own that registered address.

Currently my site searches one domain. Is it possible via the LDAP to search a secondary domain if the user id is not located in the primary domain?
I am afraid the search only indexes the community you are on. It is actually not tied to the domain, the search will still work if the domain is changed. It is tied to the community application object.
