CSS - Simple Buttons

A Lesson In CSS, Create Simple No-Image CSS Buttons

Follow the steps below to add a button styled anchor tag (link) to your community content.

How It Works

This technique uses an HTML Snippet and a CSS Snippet to create a button styled link.

The Fine Print - Requirements

  1. Admin access to your community
  2. knowledge of CSS & HTML for advanced styling

Instructions

  1. Copy (ctrl-c) and paste (ctrl-v) the CSS Snippet provided below into the bottom of your commmunity's Advanced Theme Editor (located in the Control Panel under THEME).
  2. Click "Publish" to save your changes
  3. Copy (ctrl-c) and paste (ctrl-v) the HTML Snippet provided below into the desired location (widget or the community footer)
  4. Click "Publish Page" to save your page or "Save" if you are inserting the HTML Snippet into the community footer.
