It is possible to allow anonymous users to comment on the community. To use this feature it is necessary:

1. Enable Anonymous Commenting in the entire website;
2. Change the settings to allow anonymous commenting on the channel you want to use this feature.

FIRST PART: Enable anonymous commenting throughout the entire website

Step 1

Open the Control Panel by clicking on the gear located on the top right side of your screen. Note: Only community Administrators have access to the Control Panel.

Step 2

Now, click on "Public Activity", under the Overview group.

Step 3

It will open the Public Activity screen. Now check the option "Enable anonymous commenting throughout the entire website" and save.

First part is done.

SECOND PART: Set allow anonymous commenting on the channel

Now it is necessary to change the settings on the channel to allow anonymous commenting.

Step 1 

Now it is necessary to change the settings on the channel you want permit anonymous commentings. For example, click on "Forums".

Step 2  

Click on the channel Action Button and select "Settings".

Step 3

Select  "Yes" to allow anonymous commenting on channel. Note: If you have Moderation (that is an optional module), you can check the option "Require anonymous comments to be approved by author". Doing this, all the comments have to be approved by the author before being published.

Step 4

Save the changes. The message bellow will appear:

You can find a list of Anonymous Activity accessing  Control Panel / Overview / Public Activity and send an invitation to these people to join the community.
