- Google Analytics
- 32. Q: How do I add Google Analytics?
A:
- Add the UA-XXXXXY code inside Google Analytics to the Widget section (code found under "profile" when logged into GA)
- After about 24hrs, information from the Artez system can be seen populating inside GA
- Information will include all the standards of GA (i.e. Site traffic, visitors, browsers/platforms etc.)
- One of the many Google Analytics functions deals with predefining "Goals" to track data. Artez has simplified this process by automatically having GA track two points of conversion: (1) Completed donation (Goal #1) and (2) Completed Registration (Goal #2)
- Because these two goals are already populating inside GA, the "goal funnels" for completed donations & completed registrations can be viewed
- 33. Q: How do I set up different profiles for different events?
A:
- As many "profiles" as desired can be set up in a single GA account
- Each profile has a unique UA-XXXXY number
- Locate the "create new profile" button inside GA
- In the case of having ONE Google Analytics master account, it is possible to add a new profile purely for Artez pages
- If every event is to use the same "profile", stats from each event or donation form will roll-up and appear in one Google Analytics chart
- If every event is to have a different "profile" (good for comparison purposes), add a unique UA-XXXXY for each event or donation form
- To add stats from Artez pages to the entire web site tracking chart, use the profile UA-XXXXY code that is currently used to track your web site
