Hey there

I am very new to this so hoping someone can help me out and let me know where I went wrong.

I am trying to download a video from Youtube and I have used both the embed code off of YouTube and the URL but am getting the same result regardless.

Can you see the video after you publish the page?

Here are my codes

Here are the codes I used

URL: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aS-mAz34NA0

Youtube Embed code: <object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/aS-mAz34NA0?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US&amp;rel=0&amp;color1=0x5d1719&amp;color2=0xcd311b"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/aS-mAz34NA0?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US&amp;rel=0&amp;color1=0x5d1719&amp;color2=0xcd311b" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>

I also tried altering the embed code to be more like one I saw on a IGLOO blog

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/aS-mAz34NA0?fs=1&amp;hl=en"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/aS-mAz34NA0?fs=1&amp;
hl=en"type="application/x-shockwave-flash"width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

All instances had the same result.

Thanks for your help - I think I got it soved. The Igloo welcome video seemed to be hijacking the video I was trying to replace it with - everytime I hit publish my video would briefly flash then the Igloo video would appear.

I totally deleted the igloo html widget and replaced it with a new one, when I did this the sound from the video started playing without any video - Its like it was haunted! LOL

Anyway when I inserted the embed code from YouTube and published IT WORKED! YAH!

I've tried a combination of browsers and embed codes and couldn't replicate the issue.

Sounds like the browser is caching the Youtube video

Glad to hear you were able to resolve it :-)
