Answer:

The first time you launch the Desktop Application a dialog box will also open prompting you for e-mail address and password credentials.  Credentials as the same as you would use to sign in to your IGLOO communitie.  Credentials must be entered only once; DAC will remember the credentials for as long as it is installed.
