Hey Support -

Is there anyway to Add Folders, Add Files and otheruse use the Action button on the Folder Contents widget? If not, will this feature be added soon?

Similarly, is there anyway to have the widgets work on the Documents/Folder page? Or can I only have HTML content (in the edit folder section)?

Thanks!

Hi Parker,

At this time you cannot add folder or files through the Folder Contents widget.  The IGLOO Product Marketing & Development team has received  requests for this funtionality from other clients as well.  This may take the form of an Upload widget which would be configured to target uploads to a specific document folder or sub-folder.  At this time, I cannot say for certain when this feature will be available.

You are also currently unable to use widgets in the editable area above a folder/page.  Primarily, this is because pages (built using widgets) actually replaces the older folder-as-page structure of creating pages.  Document folders are now centralized in single library.  So you can only use HTML in the editable area of a folder.

Thanks for using the support forum to post your questions!
