Question

Calendar Event - Follow/Notifications

I had a question about notifications. I've noticed there is a very nice "Export" link on all calendar events, so that a user can download the event to their Outlook Calendar. This is excellent. I was just wondering if there was any way to track who had downloaded that link using the notifications/follow on a calendar event level. In this case, the creator the calendar event would like to use it as a way to track who has signed up for particular classes. He has "followed" the specific calendar event, but when I click "Export" it doesn't seem to trigger a notification, although it is the closest thing to downloading the calendar file within "Calendar" as downloading a file within "Resources."
