Using hyper-links in broadcast messages
Hi,
I'd have a question about the Broadcast feature.
It's very useful when we publish one or more new Wiki articles, as it allows us to notify select groups of users with a nicely formatted message, and also include link/s back to the website content.
If there is only one Wiki, then you can initiate the broadcast from the article itself, and the mail title / link back would be to the page itself. However, if you need to notify about two or more articles within the one broadcast message, you'd go "one level up" e.g. /wiki, and list them out: article A, article B, ...
In the latter case, you can use the 'Insert / edit link' control to hyperlink the text, but no matter what I put in, the links in the resulting email will be broken, i.e. /wiki/myarticle - which makes sense when you are on the site, but doesn't from someone's email client.
Using 'Insert / edit link' I tried to insert "/wiki/myarticle", "https://mysite/wiki/myarticle", copy and paste from clipboard, but every time the link is ultimately truncated back to /wiki/myarticle in the email.
Is it the case of allowing html editing for Broadcast messages, or is there something I could do to get around this limitation?
Cheers,
Andy

Thank you for your post Andy,
You are now able to hyperlink using the editor, while broadcasting without issue. We have addressed community URLs showing as relative links in broadcasts.
