Downloaded email notification
Today I received an email notification that one of our members downloaded a document. I can see that this might be good info for an administrator to receive, but I also have a test account that is not an administrator and that also received an email. I also checked with another member who is just a regular member of the community who is subscribed to this document, and she also received one.
I could see that it might be a good thing for admins to know, but the main purpose of a subscription of a document is to notify the subscribees when something changes. Sending out an email notification when someone downloads the document would be considered as Spam.
Is this functionality by design? Or a bug?
I can't find any granular configurations that allow me to turn this type of notification off for my community. Does it exist?
Thanks,
Paul
