Link text automatically becomes a link?

Members often get confused about how to insert a link into their posts.  It would be so much better if text was automatically converted to a link (identifying links as words starting with "http:" or "www.").  This could either happen live (like when you're typing an email in Outlook and the link automatically converts once you hit space after typing it) or after submission (you see the link in plain text but then once the page reloads the text has actually been converted to a link).  It's great to still have the manual linking option available (for when linking to a page in the community), but this would really save people a lot of time and trouble, making the platform more user-friendly :)

It would also be great if links could be added to text in summaries (not only in the description).

Thanks!

Renee

Community Administrators will be able to create traditional web pages instead of restricting them to content management folders. Pages will be the canvases for widgets which will enable the creation of page layouts that can include both static HMTL elements and dynamic community content.
