This is more a problem than a feature. When adding an article in the blog section, there is a feature that allows you to publish it at another moment. The problem is that this clock is on ET time, even if you community is set up for a different time zone. So if you program you article to be publised at 8am and you are in the PT time zone, your article will be published and the subscribers notified at 6am PT (8am ET).

Blogs are an ideal tool for stimulating cross-team discussions, sharing expertise and unlocking new ideas. Think of a blog as an online editorial or article that expresses an author's opinion, observations or expertise on specific topics, events or activities. Members within an online community can create their own blog on a specific topic and/or comment and pose questions to other bloggers within the community.
