Posting forum thread on blog page
Is it possible to put a link to a blog-posting-specific forum thread right on the blog page? The comments are fine, but we are trying to promote more in-depth discussion on each topic via forums, like IMDB. Or are there threaded comments?
And is there a widget to promote other blog postings (by topis, by author, etc.) on the blog posting page?

Blogs are an ideal tool for stimulating cross-team discussions, sharing expertise and unlocking new ideas. Think of a blog as an online editorial or article that expresses an author's opinion, observations or expertise on specific topics, events or activities. Members within an online community can create their own blog on a specific topic and/or comment and pose questions to other bloggers within the community.

Hello Dave,
If you are trying to include a link within a blog post you can edit the article or insert the link when writing the blog post. Use the tools in the WYSIWYG editor to insert the link. You may use the URL in your address bar when viewing the forum topic as the link to include in your blog post.
If you would like to have a more in-depth discussion take place in the forums, start your post there and use the forums widget on a common page to expose the topics, drawing attention to the conversation.
The current blogs widget can expose specific blog channels which in most cases are topics, but it currently does not sort by author. I think is a great suggestion. I will add this as a feature request on your behalf.
