IGLOO Desktop for 64-bit system

My company has been working on updating all of the pages on our website to the new widget system.  However, before we can push these pages live, we need to make sure that all the documents hosted on these pages will still be in place.  We were told to install Igloo Desktop to centralize all of the files on our site into one folder.  Our entire office is currently using Windows 7, and every time I try to install the Desktop client, I receive an error message because it can only be installed on a 32-bit system.  I must say, I am quite surprised that IGLOO has not initiated a plan to develop a 64-bit version of the software.  64-bit systems are not at all uncommon, and I am a little shocked that IGLOO would release a product/service that is only compatible to one version of the operating system.  I would like to urge IGLOO to begin developing a 64-bit Deskop client, not only for our company, but for the many others that use your services presently or will be in the near future.  This is an oversight that should be fixed, please develop a 64-bit version so that we can make full use of your services.

Our organization is attempting to deploy the Desktop client as well, but this is going to be a barrier since all new systems we deploy are 64-bit. Please add a +1 to this request.

I received an update from the IGLOO Development Team. As it stands there is no formal date set for an end-user deliverable.
The target is for the end of the year, if not sooner.
But again no formal dates have been set.

We are having the same struggle and have recieved the same update. It is unfortunate we were not advised of this limitation at time of purchase.

Just to update, has the 64-bit client been released yet? Or is there now an expected release date?

Please let us know.

The expected release date for 64bit support is June 30, 2012.

We have been working on a replacement for the existing desktop tool and are entering the Private BETA phase in the next 2 weeks. The new implementation is via the WebDAV protocol and will no longer require an installable package. We are expecting to support 32bit and 64bit CPUs across Windows and Mac based OS.

If you wish to request to participate in the Private BETA, please contact your account manager.

We greatly appreciate your patience.
