Technical Bulletin: Stubborn Caching Issue

By Pam Martin – March 29, 2010

Users are reporting caching issues that are related to the build that took place Saturday March 27, 2010. A hard refresh "CRTL+F5" should resolve the issue for you.

When IGLOO develops new features and functionality we proactively take into consideration potential caching issues.  Each browser handles caching of each element slightly differently and so we do our best to minimize impact.

In our latest release, Saturday March 27, 2010, there are some functionality that is particularly stubborn to caching.   This primarily affects Administrators who are editing pages and is resolved by a hard refresh "CRTL+F5".
NOTE: Your content is NOT broken, it is just how the page is displaying for you because you are a frequent visitor.

Some behavior you might notice:

  • Columns are not aligning
  • The widget editor is blank
  • Customization is loading incorrectly

If you find that your page is not loading properly please do a hard refresh "CRTL+F5" several times.  If this does not resolve your issue please report it to support@igloosoftware.com.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
