Below is a summary of the issues resolved with yesterday's patch release...

Internet Explorer (IE):

• Users will now able to change their passwords in IE (either through the 'Forgot Your Password' link or through editing their Login Settings)
• Replying to an internal message will only create one post
• Users can now send messages to other members using the "Send a Message" functionality

Widgets:

• Calendar widget will now display upcoming events  (even after edit)
• Search widget will now display results if…

This issue may have affected some users trying to sign in to IGLOO sites; users may have been seeing an error telling them that JavaScript needed to be enabled even if it already was. Also users who proceeded to try to login were then getting an error about a bad passwords.

The issue was caused by a version incompatibility during deployment which has since been corrected.

When IGLOO develops new features and functionality we proactively take into consideration potential caching issues.  Each browser handles caching of each element slightly differently and so we do our best to minimize impact.

In our latest release, Saturday March 27, 2010, there are some functionality that is particularly stubborn to caching.   This primarily affects Administrators who are editing pages and is resolved by a hard refresh "CRTL+F5".

In order to minimize impact of our maintenance window to our customers we have split it into two separate time slots on the same day, Saturday Februrary 6, 2010.

*NEW* 12:00 AM to 2:00AM EST - we will be offline during this time period
8:00 AM to 12:00 PM EST - we will be offline for two hours during this period

To keep our systems running at optimum performance and maintain our uptime standards IGLOO routinely performs maintenance. Our maintenance is typically unnoticed by our customers but certain elements may result in a momentary interruption to your service. We make every attempt to minimize the impact to our customers by selecting a time that statistically is low in usage.

In coordination with our December 2009 product update we require a maintenance window.
