IGLOO Software's latest release was successfully applied to all of our customers this morning!  When you log into your community next you may notice a few new features and enhancements.  We hope these upgrades continue to improve the way that you use your communities.

There's not enough space here to outline all of the great changes with this release, so check out the Release Notes for all the detailed goodness!

A couple of points to draw your attention to:

Instant Messaging & VoIP Integration. Make sure to head to your profile and fill out your IM account details so that others can easily communicate with you.  With our new real-time communication module, you can use Skype™, Windows Live™ Messenger, Google Talk™ and Yahoo!® Messenger to connect with a contact right from the community.  Don't forget to encourage your friends and colleagues to fill our their info too.

Wallpaper Configuration. Despite what any groundhog says, I'm confident that spring must be just around the corner!  And with a new season you may want to give your community look a fresh update.  The wallpaper feature now allows you to quickly and easily upload a background image.  Look for a handy resource for new wallpapers from IGLOO in the next few months.

User Profile Cards.  Wherever you see a user's profile picture in your community, hover over it to view a Profile Card.  This can help you learn more about those contributing to your community, navigate quickly to their profile, or send them a message.

Single Authentication. In today's technology-based world there always seems to be too many passwords to remember!  IGLOO's new authentication module will allow you to connect your community to a secure LDAP server (such as Microsoft Active Directory Server) to centralize user authentication.  This will centralize the storage and maintenance of user accounts for administrators (and be one less password to remember).
