The Desktop Client is an extension of Microsoft Windows Explorer and is used to display community work areas as folders and files on a user's PC desktop.  The most common operations performed on a folder/file within an IGLOO community can now be performed from your desktop.

To be able to use the Desktop Client you must be a member of the customer care community and be in our list of participating communities.

Our goal is to have a new mobile and desktop platform by the end of the year. We are currently creating our vision statement around our plans for these two applications. We feel both are mission critical to our business strategy. and we must get the foundation right so that we can continue to expand the functionality after the new release.
