Domain names are key part of an organization's branding. With IGLOO, you have the flexibility to specify your own domain (ie. web address, URL).
IGLOO-Hosted Domains
IGLOO offers a number of domains that you can select when you start your community.
- yourcommunity.igloocommunities.com
- yourproject.iglooprojects.com
Custom Domains___________________________________________________________________
With Domain Mapping, you can change the web address of your IGLOO site or community. Instead of your address being a default IGLOO-Hosted domain, you can specify the web address you would like to have for your community. It is necessary that you own that registered address.
Instructions:
Have the company currently hosting your DNS services change their A Record (your www record) to point to this IP address --> 216.16.247.72
Create or change the wildcard record (ARecord) to point to 216.16.247.72.
Example:
www 216.16.247.72
@ (None) 216.16.247.72
* (All Others) 216.16.247.72
